Cherie Chung is a junior in the School of Foreign Service majoring in International Economics. At Georgetown, Cherie is an intern with the Leadership Team of StartupHoyas, where she works on content management and marketing. She also serves as a teaching assistant in the economics department, in the GUSA Cabinet, on the Student Board of the Beeck Center, and as president of VITA, an organization of volunteer income tax preparers. She has a strong research interest in behavioral economics, with a particular focus on financial issues such as savings and investment behavior. In her free time, she loves dancing, cooking, and taking on creative projects. In the future, she hopes to find a way to combine her love of travel, international development, entrepreneurship, research, and behavioral economics into a successful career.
