Vishal Agrawal is Assistant Professor of Operations and Information Management at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. His research interests include sustainable operations, new product development and supply chain management. In particular, his research focuses on managerial challenges at the interface of business and the environment. Agrawal is also interested in the effect of consumer behavior on operations and new product development strategies. His research has appeared in leading journals such as Management Science and M&SOM, and has been awarded the Dissertation Proposal Award by The Aspen Institute Center for Business Education.
Agrawal holds a Ph.D. in operations management and a M.S. in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a B.S. in mechanical engineering from University of Mumbai.
